One Ticket to the Lonely Soul Scarecrow Show
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
One Ticket for the Lonely Soul Scarecrow Show was originally intended to be a short, simple game where you walk around a corn maze and talk to the scarecrows that inhabit it.
For the most part, that is still true, but a couple months before release, I stopped working on the game. Instead, I've decided to use the shell of this game as a way to talk about and reflect on my first year as a game maker, as well as the development process for this game. I've taken to calling it a time capsule or a playable blog post, so please factor that into your expectations!

enjoyed this multimedia storytime experience! the interplay of commentary, in-game dialog, and [spoilers censored] brings rich complexity to a game of this size. one gets just a glimpse of a much deeper personal story and wider cultural commentary. the exploration aspect brings the player into the unfolding of these connections, a prism bending and folding this multidimensional structure to produce another layer of unexpected connections and meaning
glad you liked it - I think you're giving me way too much credit on this one, haha. thanks for playing :)
