A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

You find yourself at the bottom of a stone tower. It's cold, but not uninviting. If you choose to climb, why do you choose to climb? Because it's the only way forward?

This is a short game with a tall stone tower. Content warning: brief, vague mentions of animal harm, self-harm and suicide.

Controls: WASD to move, mouse to look, Escape to quit.

This game was made over the week of 11/15/2020, as the ninth in my deck of many games, where I try to make a game a week, every week, for a year.

Hi!
I have tried to make a video of it,

But...

I have tried some techniques to record it,

But every time when I check the video,

It's just white. The game is not in the video :(

The sounds and the music can be heard.

Still I liked it!

I can understand the situation of Clare :'/

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked it - sorry the video didn't work.

Hello! It's me again!

SUCCESS!!!

Finally I have made it. It took time, but there it is :)

You can read my review down in the description.

Again...

Good Job! Keep Up The Good Work!

great video - I appreciate you coming back to Upwards after getting all the kinks worked out!
